Christmas in July

Ok I know it’s August and not July but I got these beauties in July and remember thinking it felt like “Christmas in July”!  So there you go.  :)

Last month I got to thinking about diapers.  (I know that makes for riveting thoughts and discussions.)  I had been using gDiapers as Owen’s primary diaper and was thinking he needed to move on up to the large size.  We only had mediums and they had lasted him from 3 months old until now!  In fact, the medium size still fits but I could tell a large would fit better.  I wasn’t sure if I wanted to spend the $80+ to buy enough larges to last us through diapering but after thinking about all the disposables I would go through in that time I convinced myself to go with the gDiapers!

So we celebrated Christmas in July when these bad boys came in the mail…

I love the larger fit and I’m so glad I went ahead and made this purchase!  And as I’ve said before, don’t go thinking we only use cloth because we don’t.  I use disposables for night time, most naps, when we go out and about for long periods of time and when we travel.  But I would say 80% – 90% of the time Owen has one of these on his backside.  And it doesn’t hurt that he looks super cute in them.  :)

gDiapers Are Going Strong!

Just a quick note to say that after a few months of using gDiapers we are still loving them!  I had lots of great conversation after my last post about gDiapers and I love talking with others who are thinking about cloth diapering.  Obviously there are lots of choices out there besides gDiapers but if you ever have questions about the g’s then ask away!  And gDiaper’s website also answers a ton of questions as well.
